Inspired by, why do cat's stare. It has been said, if you ever catch your cat gazing at you, for a long period of time and they are slowly blinking his or her eyes, he or she is giving you a kiss. To show that you love them, give them a kitty kiss right back. Just give him that long stare and slow blink and see what happens. Sometimes I just get a blank stare right back



And last of all a new ACEO inspired by the terrible tragedy that has occurred in Haiti and is dedicated to all the people of Haiti. It is for those who have lost loved ones, who are in pain and are suffering, it is for the rescuers and aids - who are trying to help and get help for the people of Haiti.
An angel is looking down on all the people of Haiti, during this horrific and frightening time. There is hope and there is a light. She is letting you all know that it will be alright and the Lord does hear your prayers. The red, blue and yellow ribbons represent the support and awareness of the terrible event that has happened in Haiti.

Unfortunately, the scan does not show the iridescent acrylic on the wings, dress and ribbons and it's not showing all the details in the wings. Eighty percent (80%) of this sale will be donated to the American Red Cross for helping the victims of Haiti.

This work was inspired by capturing the meaning behind the true spirit of Christmas. Christmas is not what it once use to be. It has become more about material things, the commercialism, and the rush rush rush and hurriedness of it all.

To me, the true meaning of the spirit of Christmas is about personal sacrifice, it's about being kind to one another, it's about loving our neighbors as ourselves, it's about hope, it's about helping people out, it's about a birth of a child in a manger, Christ who is our Savior.

This particular piece was inspired by all the hype of 12/21/2012 and the movie 2012. I wanted to depict a cosmic revelation in the reflections of an onlooker's eye.

I have now finished up with the entire Tango series of illustrations for author, Diana Wind.

It was important for me to create something that would connect with all women who are battling or have battled this terrible disease. And to re-assure all those women out their, that there is HOPE, and that the battle needs to continue to go on, to find a cure.

I dedicated this drawing to all the women who are breast cancer survivors and to all those women who are still fighting the battle against breast cancer.

Taking a break from my emotional series and plan on working on a  few contest entries and maybe an ACEO or two. Next, I will be working on a new piece for the Think Pink Contest IV at Deviantart http://news.deviantart.com/article/88233/   A contest for breast cancer survivor. Something my family has battle with is cancer. My dad died from cancer. So I feel very passionate about this competition.
